Do you have to have the internet package with the Motorola Droid?

And if you do, is there any possible way to buy it without internet? I have wifi and I don't want to spend the money on 3G if I don't need it but I really want the phone.

Storm 2 Vs. Droid HELP!!!!?

I just bought the storm 2 on thru. I had the storm 1 and hated the freezing!!! it drove me nuts!! So I waited and waited for storm 2 then when it came out I replaced the storm 1 for the storm 2..But now i'm thinking should i return the storm and get the droid? I have 30 days to decided..Just wondering if anyone can give me some input on the droid and if it's worth getting..Cuz once I do this switch from storm 2 to droid I will not be able to change if i don't like the droid..Any help would be great

“…critically-acclaimed and ultra-fast Motorola Droid could be coming to you. An FCC filing (via Electronista) shows that the Droid is set to run both CDMA and WCDMA. This means that Moto's new flagship smartphone will be able to handle HSPA-based 3G.”

If the above is true then it is only a matter of time; Rogers and/or Bell can take this phone on no problem. This won't be before Christmas however. The official launch date is November 6th on Verizon in the USA.

Also, BestBuy (USA) has the droid up for pre-order on its American sites.
