We have been covering the Motorola Droid news for a while now, and with that it is nice to see the Droid actually available. The release was yesterday and I am.

When will the Motorola Droid will be released in Canada?

“…critically-acclaimed and ultra-fast Motorola Droid could be coming to you. An FCC filing (via Electronista) shows that the Droid is set to run both CDMA and WCDMA. This means that Moto's new flagship smartphone will be able to handle HSPA-based 3G.”

If the above is true then it is only a matter of time; Rogers and/or Bell can take this phone on no problem. This won't be before Christmas however. The official launch date is November 6th on Verizon in the USA.

Also, BestBuy (USA) has the droid up for pre-order on its American sites.
