Motorola Droid Program Questions?

Hi, I just got the Droid phone, I love it but I have 2 questions. 1. Does it really randomly say “Droid” at times, I've heard them do that in the store but didnt know if it really does and how I'd turn it off and on if so, and 2. How do I clear my search history for the market place.
